Solidus Bridge runs on testnet. Everything shown here is test data with no monetary value.

Questions

What does the bridge actually move?
Credential status. An issuer records a credential on Solidus; the bridge carries its current status to the chains a holder chose, so an application there can check a condition without seeing the data behind it. On the testnets it also gates a USDC transfer on a credential: only an address that holds one can receive it.
Does my personal data leave Solidus?
No. What is carried is a hash of the issuer, a hash of the credential type, a holder key, an export id, a status, an expiry and whether the issuer is accredited. Your DID never appears on the destination chain, and neither does anything the credential contains.
What happens when a credential is revoked?
In the same Solidus block that records the revocation, a status message is queued for each of the credential's exports that is still active. You do not have to visit a page, sign anything or pay gas.
Who can deliver a message?
Anyone. The signatures are the authority, not the sender. Our gateway is a convenience, and a stalled script delays a message rather than blocking it.
What am I trusting?
Today, one operator: Solidus runs every validator on the testnets. A zero-knowledge proof replaces the signature check before any value moves on mainnet.
What happens if the bridge stops?
Gates stop passing. A destination that stops hearing from Solidus cannot learn about a revocation, so it stops trusting what it last heard rather than continuing. Silence closes the door.
Why does a page say "not measured" instead of a number?
Because nobody has looked yet. A zero would be a measurement, and claiming one we did not make is the failure this surface is built to avoid.
Can I move USDC?
On the testnets, yes, to an address that holds a valid credential. It is testnet USDC and has no monetary value.
Which chains are supported?
The support grid on the home page is read from the live configuration, so it is accurate at the moment you load it rather than at the moment this answer was written.
Is any of this real money?
No. Everything here runs on testnets and every value shown has no monetary worth.
How do I gate my own contract?
Read the developers page. It is about ten lines: read the mirror address from the registry and call the gate, which answers with a reason rather than only a refusal.
